Pinealon

Researched in CNS signaling

A short Khavinson peptide used to support cognitive function, neuroprotection, and central nervous system signaling.

A single rosemary sprig with deep blue-green needled leaves and a small pale blue flower, against soft cream linen.

Overview

Pinealon is a Khavinson tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg, EDR) studied in the context of central-nervous-system signaling and neuroprotection. The strongest indexed paper is an in vitro mouse hippocampal-neuron study under amyloid stress. No Phase 1/2/3 human trials exist on ClinicalTrials.gov; the largest human-use observation is a 72-patient open-label series in Russian post-TBI cerebrasthenia by the developer's own group.

Evidence: primarily pre-clinical / limited human data

In consultation, clients often ask

The candid limits of the evidence base.

Why this is treated as a research-context conversation, not standard care.

Regulatory & sourcing

Not FDA-approved. Not on the 503A bulks list. Evidence is dominated by a single research group with no independent Western replication.
