Overview
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from the ACTH(4-7) sequence, studied in the context of focus, attention, and neurotrophic signaling (notably BDNF). It is a registered pharmaceutical in Russia for stroke recovery and cognitive indications. Western randomized controlled trials are largely absent.
